Jan E. Singelmann is an associate attorney at the firm�s Oklahoma City office. His practice focuses on litigation and trial practice along with election and campaign finance litigation. Mr. Singelmann attended the Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 2007), where he served as Assistant Appellate Director of the Barrister's Council, Political Chairman of La Alianza del Derecho, and as a member of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal. During law school, Mr. Singelmann also worked as an intern for Judge Paul Friedman of the D.C. District Court and as a student attorney in the civil rights section of the Institute for Public Representation, Georgetown's public interest law clinic. Before attending law school, Mr. Singelmann acquired his B.A., with distinction, in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2001, where he received the Roach Award as the top graduating political science student and the Harry S. Truman scholarship. Mr. Singelmann also completed a 10-week public policy program focusing on policymaking, advocacy and the political process at the Brookings Institute in Washington, D.C. After completing his undergraduate education, Mr. Singelmann worked for U.S. Senator Jean Carnahan of Missouri. |
