Jane Howard is a 25-year veteran of the hospitality industry with expertise in human resources, organizational and employee development, hotel development and sales.
She joined Joie de Vivre Hospitality as Vice President Employee Development in June 1999. She functions as the minister of corporate culture and the apostle of JdV's core values. She shares Joie de Vivre's philosophy that creating a unique corporate culture will lead to enthusiastic staff, satisfied customers and growing profits.
Prior to joining JdV, Jane was an independent consultant and trainer who specialized in employee and team development, organizational alignment and sales and management training for the hotel and resort industry.
Jane's career path includes 15 years of sales and development experience including 8 years as Vice President of the Kimpton Group and 5 years in sales at the Rancho Bernardo Inn and Mark Hopkins Hotels. She has consulted to a wide variety of hotel industry clients. She earned her Master of Arts in Management (Organizational Development) from JFK University in 1997. |
