Prior to joining the Company in 2006, Ms. Kapostasy was a Senior Vice President, and the Chief Financial Officer for the Technology and Operations Business Unit at the National City Corporation, from 2000 through 2005. National City is one of the 10 largest Banks in the United States. During her tenure she was an active participant in technology investment decisions, and in strategic planning for the organization.She joined the STERIS Corporation as Corporate Controller in 1995 and continued in that capacity until 2000. In this role Ms. Kapostasy oversaw financial and operational controls, financial systems and reporting for a company that was growing rapidly, organically and through acquisition.In 1990, Ms. Kapostasy joined Peoples Savings Bank, as a Senior Vice President of Finance, then a subsidiary of the holding company that would become First Merit. She was quickly promoted to Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Operations. In this capacity she had wide ranging responsibility for many aspects of running a successful bank including management of a mortgage banking company.Ms. Kapostasy has a B.A. in Business Management, a B.A. in Accounting, an EMBA in International Business from Case Western Reserve's Weatherhead School of Management, and is a Certified Public Accountant. |
