Ms. Miner is the Vice President responsible for property operations in Connecticut & New York. There are currently 20 communities consisting of approximately 5,414 units and an additional 2,339 units in the more immediate development pipeline within these regions. In addition to in-depth experience in managing stabilized communities, Ms. Miner also has experience with acquisitions, dispositions and lease-up communities. She has also been instrumental in developing and managing the affordable housing compliance plans for both the Connecticut and New York Communities. Based on this expertise, she was asked to be a contributing member of the Connecticut Blue Ribbon Committee with respect to the management compliance policies and procedures for affordable housing.
Prior to the formation of Avalon Properties/AvalonBay Communities, Inc., Ms. Miner served in several different capacities with Trammell Crow Residential. She began her career with Trammell Crow Residential in 1991 in a leasing capacity. In 1996, she was promoted to the position of Divisional Manager. In this position of Divisional Manager, Ms. Miner was responsible for the operations of both new and existing communities in both the states of Connecticut and New York. Ms. Miner was then promoted to Portfolio Director in 1998 and then Sr. Portfolio Director in 2000.
Ms. Miner completed course work in the Bachelor of Arts Education Program at St. Joseph College. She has continued her education at Albertus Magnus College studying Business Management. |
