Mr. Shapiro has 12 years of diverse management, sales and marketing business experience in the media and technology industries. Prior to joining Iridium, Mr. Shapiro was the founder and president of an independent commercial media talent management company in New York City that serviced major clients including Viacom, Paramount, ESPN, NBC and all the large advertising and media production companies. Earlier, he held several key sales and marketing positions in the media and IT industries. He had also interned for Congresswoman Nancy L. Johnson of Connecticut focusing on healthcare, labor and tax issues. Mr. Shapiro holds a BA in Political Science from Tulane University and also volunteers with the Achilles Track Club working with disabled runners. |
