Jarret Raab has significant experience handling a broad range of state and federal litigation matters arising primarily out of contractual disputes and tort claims in the products liability, construction, insurance coverage, professional malpractice, and bankruptcy areas. He has also prosecuted personal injury actions on behalf of injured plaintiffs and has defended governmental employees against civil rights claims.
Jarret has conducted trials, mediations, arbitrations, as well as numerous appeals. He has represented a wide variety of clients, including large publicly traded retailers, chemical distributors, real estate developers, general contractors, subcontractors, engineering services companies, and domestic and foreign insurance carriers.
Prior to joining Shaw Gussis, Jarret was a commercial litigator at a prestigious litigation boutique in Atlanta, Georgia. He has also worked as a risk management consultant at a nationally recognized firm in Boston, Massachusetts. During law school, Jarret was a law clerk for the Hon. James H. Weeks of the Superior Court of DeKalb County, as well as a judicial clerk for the Supreme Court of Georgia.
