Jason is VIA's Creative Director and is responsible for maintaining a unique and professional image for VIA and all its clients. He is lead designer and project manager for all creative projects within the company including corporate identity packages, logos, websites, motion design, brochures and other print collateral. He is lead photographer for VIA's clients, and also works as a consultant for various local businesses for their marketing and identity campaigns. Backed by 14 years experience in the professional creative field, Jason began his career in print design then branched out to website design, photography, programming, and sound design. He has been recognized by his peers, receiving the Gold Award for Motion Design in 2002's LGDA 100 Design awards, and a Louisville Advertising Federation Louis Award in 2004 for Animation and Sound. Most recently he has won the 2005 LGDA "Best in Show" Award. Before coming on board with VIA, Jason was interactive designer at Power Creative, the second largest ad agency in Kentucky working on national clients including General Electric, Zeon Chemicals, and Lexmark. Jason's technical skills complement his creative abilities. He has mastered Flash Animation and Actionscript plus the entire library of design software from Freehand to Photoshop, HTML, CSS, and is also proficient as a sound designer and musician.In his free time, Jason works as an events promoter, electronic musician, DJ, and sound designer. He has performed all over the country, and works on a regular basis with video and performance artists from around the world. He has released 2 solo CD's and another handful of collaborative music projects. |
