Jason Simon joined JMP Securities in February 2003 and is a Director and senior research analyst covering industrial and clean technology - the development or application of unique technologies for the advancement of products and services in many industries, including aerospace and defense, oil and gas, utilities, telecommunications, automotive and medical devices.
Prior to joining JMP, Jason spent five years at JPMorgan and its predecessor, Hambrecht & Quist, where he worked as a research analyst in the communications technology group covering networking equipment, communications software and test and measurement equipment stocks.
Before moving to Hambrecht & Quist, Jason worked in Canada as an analyst on both the sellside and the buyside, focused on oil and gas exploration and production companies as well as other resource-based enterprises. While at RBC Dominion Securities, Jason was a member of an award-winning oil and gas research team recognized by the Brendan Woods institutional investor survey.
Jason is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received a Honors B.Comm and a BA from the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. |
