Jason Thomas has been a Certified Public Accountant and tax specialist in Las Vegas for 17 years. Jason joined Fair, Anderson and Langerman (FAL) in 2002 as a tax manager and was quickly promoted. As a firm partner and vice president of tax services, he oversees tax returns and reviews as well as provides consulting services to FAL clients in the areas of financial analysis, tax projections and wealth management. Prior to joining FAL, Jason worked for 10 years at several national accounting firms, including a four-year international assignment on the island of Guam. Jason has been very successful in reducing the effective tax cost to businesses and individuals. He provides federal and state tax solutions to clients by interpreting a broad application of the tax laws to the targeted industries of real estate and construction, medical and professional practices and other industries in the diverse Las Vegas market. Jason' vision for serving the Las Vegas community is to combine the commercial financial strengths of successful businesses with the ethical principles of non-profit corporations, enabling non-profits to become more financially successful. Jason has served as treasurer, financial advisor and tax consultant to some of the largest non-profit charitable institutions in Southern Nevada. Currently, he serves on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Foundation Advisory Committee for Charitable Gifts. Jason is also an active public speaker for several trade associations. Jason graduated from Boise State University in Idaho in 1988 with a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nevada Society of CPAs. |
