Business Litigation
Mr. Heidrick is an attorney in the Firm�s litigation practice group. His practice focuses on personal injury cases, commercial disputes, construction disputes and trade secrets matters. In addition to his courtroom experience, Mr. Heidrick possesses a strong knowledge of discovery and trial tactics as well as procedural matters at both the state and federal levels. He also has extensive experience with railroad litigation involving accidents at railroad crossings.
Mr. Heidrick has experience at both the state and appellate level and is licensed to practice in the State of Kansas, the United States District Court, District of Kansas, the State of Missouri, and the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri. He has also represented numerous clients in Arkansas courts at both the state and federal level.
Mr. Heidrick is a frequent CLE presenter on civil litigation matters and is a member of numerous national and local Bar Associations.

Reported Decisions / Representative cases:
Preston Refrigeration Co., Inc. v. Omaha Cold Storage Terminals, Inc., 742 N.W.2d 782, (Neb.App. Dec 04, 2007)
Products Liability:
Jay litigated a complex products liability suit involving claims against a handgun manufacturer that the firearm had a defective magazine safety and did not contain childproof technology.
Railroad Crossing Accidents:
Jay has litigated dozens of railroad crossing accidents in Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas. He has gained extensive knowledge of railroad operating rules related to crossing safety as well as federal and state laws governing railroad operations.
Commercial Disputes:
Jay represents local and national companies in commercial disputes involving the Uniform Commercial Code as well as common law contractual claims.
Transportation:
Jay has litigated numerous personal injury lawsuits stemming from trucking accidents in Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas.
