Dr. LeGore is an experienced materials scientist who is responsible for the development of Stillwater's ion beam modulators, ion optics components, and vacuum systems. Prior to Stillwater, Dr. LeGore was a principal investigator at Sensor Research and Development in Orono, Maine where he developed chemi-resistive gas sensors. His post-doctoral and doctoral work included thin film deposition and characterization as well as scanning probe microscopy. He also has experience in the design of electronics for medical instruments. Dr. LeGore received his PhD in Materials Science from the University of Maine, his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University. |
