As vice president general counsel and corporate compliance officer Jay Dudley is responsible for all of PGE's legal affairs and will coordinate the company's internal audit ethics and compliance activities.
Since joining PGE in 1988 Dudley has served as lead regulatory attorney on state and federal matters and has been instrumental in forging collaborative working relationships with the Oregon Public Utility Commission Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Energy Facility Siting Council and Bonneville Power Administration.
Before joining PGE Dudley specialized in energy issues during almost 14 years of service with law firms in Seattle and Cincinnati. He has a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan where he graduated magna cum laude in 1970 and earned his Juris Doctorate from Stanford Law School in 1974. He is admitted to practice law in Oregon Washington California and Ohio.
Dudley is also a fellow of the American Leadership Forum of Oregon a nonprofit nonpartisan organization that joins and strengthens leaders in order to better serve the public good. As an active member of the community Dudley is a member of The Rotary Club of Portland Metropolitan and is a volunteer with the Lake Oswego Millennium Concert Band.
A native of Ohio Dudley resides in Lake Oswego with his wife of 35 years Hanan. |
