Jay Ezrielev is a Vice President at Competition Policy Associates. Dr. Ezrielev specializes in economic and financial analysis of complex litigation, antitrust, regulatory review, arbitration proceedings, and strategic planning issues. Dr. Ezrielev has provided analysis and economic guidance in a wide range of matters, including monopolization, merger review, price fixing, transfer pricing, intellectual property, and contractual disputes. He has assisted in the preparation of expert reports and testimony, and worked on matters involving the U.S., EU, Australia, and New Zealand regulatory authorities. Dr. Ezrielev has developed sophisticated economic models, performed econometric analyses of large scale data sets, and led projects in the analysis of complex of litigation and strategic planning matters. Dr. Ezrielev has extensive economic analysis and modeling experience in a broad spectrum of industries including pharmaceuticals, media, financial services, airlines, telecommunications, energy generation and distribution, semiconductors, computer hardware, and paper products.
Prior to joining COMPASS, Dr. Ezrielev was a senior economist at Competition Economics, Inc., an economic consulting firm. Dr. Ezrielev also worked as a software developer and scientist at Siemens Medical Systems, and Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Dr. Ezrielev holds a Ph.D. in economics from New York University, a MS in electrical engineering from Rutgers University, and a BS in electrical engineering from Rutgers University.
