Jay Rising joined Hewitt in May 2007 as president of the company's HR Outsourcing business. Jay has full P&L responsibility for Outsourcing and the 17,000 associates supporting the company's Benefits Outsourcing and HR BPO clients globally. Jay has proven experience launching new businesses and accelerating growth in established organizations by delivering client-focused results leveraging his extensive background in sales and marketing with his industry experience.
Jay most recently served as president of field operations at RightNow Technologies, where he was responsible for global sales, marketing, and consulting operations. He spent nearly 10 years at Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP), in a number of senior positions, most recently as the president of the National Accounts Division Employer Services, where he was instrumental in increasing revenue and improving operating margins. In this role, Jay was responsible for creating a new sales model for core and new products, moving core platforms to web/hosting, rolling out new standalone products and creating strategic alliances to better serve client needs. He also played a role in launching the firm's HR BPO service and managed the integration of ADP's largest acquisition to date. Prior to that, as a general manager at American Express, Jay led the launch of a new business venture that grew to $500 million in annualized charge volume.
He earned his MBA and BA from Dartmouth College.
