Jay Rosen joined FocalPoint in 2003, where he is a Vice President responsible for Business Development. Jay plays a valuable role in the transaction process for FocalPoint's clients, providing incisive industry analysis and developing relationships with key strategic acquirors. He is integrally involved in FocalPoint's front end deal team, vetting lead generation, overseeing research and supervising acquirer/investor list creation.
Since joining FocalPoint, Jay has worked on several M&A transactions, including the sale of The Walking Company to Big Dog Holdings (NASDAQ: BDOG), the divestiture of Cinetech, a Westar Capital portfolio company to Ascent Media, and the sale of Delta, a mid-western specialty staffing company focused on clinical trials to Vedior, N.V., a multibillion dollar company listed in Europe. Most recently, he played a leading role in the sale of HQ Gift Cards to Comdata, a subsidiary of Ceridian (NYSE: CEN).
Mr. Rosen graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
