Jay is responsible for due diligence, structuring, documenting, closing financings, acquisitions, portfolio company strategic agreements, dispositions and supervising outside counsel. From December 1992 to June 2004, Jay was a Managing Director of Bachow & Associates, Inc., a private equity firm with over $450 million under management. Previously, he was President and General Counsel of Judicate, Inc., a publicly traded nationwide provider of alternative dispute resolution (mediation and arbitration) services. Prior to Judicate, he was an attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions at Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen in Philadelphia, devoting a significant portion of his time to start-up and high-growth companies. Jay graduated with a BA, Summa Cum Laude, in Economics and Art History from Rutgers University and he received a JD, with honors, from New York University School of Law. |
