Jay Tilley is a senior vice president and general manager of Sanborn�s Colorado Springs office.

Mr. Tilley is responsible for the business and technical operations of the Colorado Springs office. He focuses on the management and growth of Sanborn�s core mapping business, as well as managing advanced product development and implementation for the company.

He joined Sanborn in 2004 from Denver-based RESOURCE21, where he was vice president of commercial and civil divisions. Prior to that, he served as vice president of technology at Colorado Springs-based Analytical Surveys, Inc., a company Sanborn later acquired. Tilley has held senior positions at Booz Allen Hamilton, Earth Watch, Inc. (now DigitalGlobe, Inc.), Ball Aerospace Corporation and the Air Force Phillips Laboratory/Space Division.

Mr. Tilley holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering/communications and signal processing form the United States Air Force Academy. He also holds a masters degree in electrical engineering/electro-optics, software engineering and image/signal analysis form the Air Force Institute of Technology in Ohio.
