Jay Turner is a partner with GuideCap and brings significant experience in debt and equity capital raises and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to joining GuideCap, Mr. Turner was the Southwest Managing Director for Banc One Mezzanine Corporation (BOMC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank One Corporation, which invested over $200 million in middle-market companies. During his tenure with BOMC, Mr. Turner originated, evaluated, structured, negotiated, closed and monitored middle market investments. Prior to BOMC, Mr. Turner CFO of KBK Capital Corporation and Managing Director of KBK Mezzanine, where he was responsible for managing the company's capital structure and analyzing strategic acquisitions. Mr. Turner has held investment banking positions at RBC Capital/Dain Rauscher and KPMG's Corporate Finance Group where he founded the Southwest practice. Mr. Turner received his BBA from The University of Texas at Austin, his MBA from Southern Methodist University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Mr. Turner has served on numerous boards, including various operating companies, North Texas Opportunity Fund, Dallas Association of Investment Analysts, Southwest Venture Forum, and DFW Private Equity Forum. |
