Jayee Xu joined Vector Capital as a Vice President in 2007. Prior to joining Vector, Jayee was with Goldman Sachs in their firm-wide strategy and investments group where she invested in public and private companies, helped to build new businesses and executed joint ventures. She worked closely with the most senior members of Goldman�s global management team. Her transaction and operating experience in this role involved financial institutions and technology businesses in the U.S., Asia and Latin America.
Earlier in her career at Goldman Sachs, Jayee was a member of the firm�s Technology, Media and Telecom Investment Banking Group where she worked on a variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leverage buyouts and balance sheet restructurings. Her clients included eBay, Veritas, Network Appliance, Overture/Yahoo, RealNetworks, Sanmina-SCI, as well as technology-focused private equity firms.
In addition, Jayee has worked for General Atlantic where she focused on healthcare IT services and devices companies.
Jayee has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland towards which she studied at the University of Auckland and the University of California, Berkeley. |
