Mr. Jayesh Parekh is a Founder and on the Board of Directors, and has served on the Board since the company's inception in August 2000. He is founder and Director on the Board of Sony Entertainment Television, a major cable & satellite television channel launched in collaboration with Sony Corporation of Japan.He is the founder of ProPoor, a non-profit portal for NGOs (Non Governmental Organizations) in South Asia, and now a service of CharityFocus. Mr. Parekh is an active angel investor, with investments in major Venture Capital Funds in Silicon Valley and start-up enterprises across the broad technology space. Prior to the above ventures Mr. Parekh spent 13 years at IBM in various positions based out of Houston (USA) and Singapore, where he was involved in technical, sales and marketing roles.Mr. Parekh holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda, India and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. Mr. Parekh is on the Board of United Way International. |
