Jean Renshaw joined the firm in 1990 and is a partner on the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Team in the HR Law Practice Group.
Areas of Concentration. Jean advises a wide range of employers in all aspects of employee benefits. Jeans practice includes:
Qualified retirement plans, such as 401(k) plans, that benefit a broad range of employees (designing, drafting, implementing, merging and terminating);Non-qualified plans and other arrangements for executives;Stock related plans, such as incentive and non-qualified stock option plans (designing, drafting, implementing and short-swing profit liability implications); and Welfare plans such as medical, severance, life insurance and disability plans (including cafeteria or flexible benefit plans). Jean performs compliance reviews of plans as a part of due diligence reviews in mergers and acquisitions, and for purposes of the Internal Revenue Services voluntary correction programs (VCR, APRSC and Walk-in CAP).
In General. Prior to law school, Jean worked as a registered medical technologist. She is a member of the Philadelphia and American Bar Associations. |
