Jeff Curran, Vice-President and Comptroller, leads the finance and tax teams for TransAlta�s operations. Mr. Curran is responsible for financial reporting and planning, financial processes and systems, and taxation.
Prior to this role, Mr. Curran was Director, Financial Operations for the Generation Technology team, where he was responsible for financial support and analysis of TransAlta�s major maintenance, engineering, project management, life-cycle fleet planning and supply chain management functions.
Mr. Curran joined TransAlta in 2001 as Manager, Financial Reporting. Prior to joining TransAlta, Mr. Curran was a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen LLP.
Mr. Curran received his bachelor of commerce from the University of Calgary. He was granted his Chartered Accountant designation in 1996 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta. |
