Mr. Benck joined QLogic in May, 2007 as President and Chief Operating Officer. In this new role, Mr. Benck has responsibility for overseeing all QLogic Business Units, Sales, Marketing, integrated Supply Chain, IT, Strategy, and HR.
Prior to his arrival, Mr. Benck was vice president of Development for Modular and Blade Systems at IBM in Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC. In that position, Mr. Benck was responsible for development of all IBM�s industry standard server, storage, workstation and retail store products. Jeff held a variety of executive positions in his 19 years with IBM including development, marketing, operations and general manager for IBM�s BladeCenter product line. Mr. Benck was also a member of IBM�s Integration and Values Team which represents the top 10% of executives in the company.
Mr. Benck received his BS in engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MS in Management of Technology from University of Miami. |
