Caplan is responsible for defining and leading the company�s information technology initiatives while supervising daily technology operations. He joined CSI as Director of Information Technology in 1999, and was promoted to Vice President in August 2000. Since joining CSI, he has led several critical business technology projects resulting in bottom-line impact. Recent successes include the development and deployment of a new content management system leveraging state-of-the-art �Tablet PC� technology for CSI�s Auto Guide division. Caplan also works closely with the senior management team of Primedia (CSI�s parent company) on cross-enterprise business technology strategies. |
