Jeff Finkelstein was formally appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer in October 2002. He is responsible for all financial and related functions for SmarTire including finance, treasury, accounting, taxation, legal, management information systems and administration.
Mr. Finkelstein was originally hired as Controller of SmarTire in 1999. He was promoted to Acting Chief Financial Officer in May 2002 and was formally appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer in October 2002. He is a Canadian Chartered Accountant with 18 years of experience including nine years working with Bulletin Board, Nasdaq and Toronto Stock Exchange listed companies. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (honors) degree and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba. |
