He is an information technology professional and architect with 13 years of consulting experience, including strategy, architecture, program management, and full life-cycle systems development using various technologies and methodologies. He has designed, developed, and delivered systems to clients in the financial services, telecommunications, Internet/e-commerce, government, and manufacturing industries. As a strategic advisor to a number of clients, he has provided guidance on vision and direction for high-profile, complex technology programs, while also fulfilling day-to-day responsibilities.
Jeffs corporate role within Excella is focused on continually enhancing Excellas ability to deliver quality solutions for its clients. This includes creating a culture of learning and continuous improvement. A primary objective of this continuous improvement is ensuring the firm maintains its consistently excellent service delivery even as the size, scope, and complexity of its projects increase. In support of this philosophy, Jeff launched and is responsible for overseeing Excellas Communities of Practice, which are designed to help Excella consultants learn from each other, research and define best practices, and practically apply that knowledge on their client engagements.
Prior to co-founding Excella, Jeff served as the Director of Technology Strategy and member of the executive team of the DC office of Idea Integration, an information technology consulting firm. While in this role, he defined the technology strategy for the office, managed the offices technology vendor partnerships, led a team of technical architects, and provided technical support for company-wide business development efforts. He also successfully launched a creative services group for the office to complement its systems integration and implementation services. Jeff began his career at AMS (now CGI-AMS) doing custom systems implementations at various federal clients.
