Mr. Jackson is currently executive vice president and chief financial officer of Sabre Holdings, where he oversees financial reporting for the company's three businesses: Travelocity, Sabre Travel Network and Sabre Airline Solutions. Jackson also is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, corporate accounting, treasury and the tax and audit areas, and plays a key role in corporate strategic planning. Jackson joined the company as senior vice president and CFO in August 1998, and he served as a board member of Travelocity.com until March 2002, when it became a Sabre Holdings subsidiary. During Jackson's tenure as CFO, Sabre Holdings has completed many key mergers and acquisitions. In addition to being active in Sabre Holdings investment decisions into new travel distribution channels, Jackson also drives cost-management initiatives companywide. Prior to joining Sabre Holdings, Jackson served as both vice president of corporate development and treasurer, and vice president and controller of American Airlines. He is a board member and chairman of the audit committee for Parago, Inc., a leader in customer relationship management. Jackson holds a master's degree in management from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree in economics/government from Dartmouth College. |
