Jeff joined Exostar in early 2001 as the security lead and continues to hold that position. His accomplishments at Exostar are many. In 2004/2005, Nigriny led the design and implementation of Exostar�s secure design collaboration solution, ForumPass, allowing companies to share unprecedented levels of sensitive information across trading partners in real time. In 2003 he founded CertiPath (www.certipath.com) and has acted as its director since that time. Starting in 2007, CertiPath took over the management of the Transatlantic Secure Collaboration Program (www.tscp.org) and Jeff leads the Community Advocacy Function on its behalf.
Jeff has been nationally recognized by Forbes "Best of the Web", InformationWeek and Computerworld. In 2004 and 2006, Jeff was a finalist in Computerworld�s Laureate Awards for Business Services. In 2005, Jeff and Exostar won the Computerworld Honors 21st Century Achievement Award for most innovative technology in the business and related services category. In 2007, Jeff was named to Supply and Demand Chain Executive�s "Pros to Know".
Jeff Nigriny works closely with members of industry, the U.S. government and the U.K. government to build security focused industry infrastructure. Jeff has held several positions with Fortune 500 organizations. Over the last 13 years, he has worked in various disciplines of information technology, with a focus the last seven years on IT security. He sits on the AIA EEIC Security Group. Jeff is often asked to speak at industry conferences, including DoD PKI 2006, RSA 2007 San Francisco and the RSA 2007 Europe, and DoD�s Information Assurance Conference (both 2006/2007).
Jeff Nigriny holds a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Tech and a Master of Science from American University. He also holds the CISSP and TICSA certifications. |
