Mr. Palmer is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Blue Lane Technologies. Previously, Jeff served as President of GetThere, the leading online corporate travel procurement solution, based in Menlo Park, CA. While at the company, GetThere grew to become the largest factor in the corporate online travel market, holding 70% market share among the top 100 US corporations, #1 share in the overall market with more than 3000 customers worldwide, and transaction volumes exceeding one million per month. GetThere went public on the NASDAQ in 1999 and was acquired by Sabre Holdings (NYSE: TSG) for $750 million in 2000.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Palmer served in a variety of general management and marketing officer roles at Tristrata Security, Memco Software, Pilot Software and BBN, establishing experience in enterprise networking, security, and applications software.
Mr. Palmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Mr. Sequeira is Senior Vice President of Product Operations at Blue Lane Technologies, responsible for managing the overall product life cycle, from concept through research, development and test, to delivery and support. He was previously the Senior Vice President of Technology and Operations at netVmg, an intelligent route control company acquired by InterNap in 2003, where he was responsible for the architecture, development and deployment of the industry-leading flow control platform. Prior to netVmg, he was founder, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Products and Operations at First Virtual Corporation (FVC), a multi-service networking company that had a successful IPO in 1998. Prior to FVC, he was Director of the Network Management Business Unit at Ungermann-Bass, the first independent local area network company. Mr. Sequeira has previously served as a Director on the boards of FVC and netVmg.
Mr. Sequeira started his career as a software developer at HP in the Information Networks Division, working on the development of TCP/IP protocols. During the early 1980's, he worked on the CSNET project, an early realization of the Internet concept. Mr. Sequeira is a recognized expert in data networking, with twenty five years of experience in the industry, and has been a featured speaker at industry leading forums like Networld+Interop, Next Generation Networks, ISP Con and RSA Conference.
Mr. Sequeira holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Mr. Ness is the Vice President of Marketing at Blue Lane Technologies. He was previously a marketing executive at Juniper Networks, Redline Networks, IntruVert Networks, ShoreTel, Visa International and Verizon. At Juniper he led the development of its new "Master of IT" customer recognition program and also helped drive substantial increases in eMarketing program performance. At Redline he helped to establish the company as a leader in Web application delivery, allowing the company to grow revenue by 1000% until acquisition in May 2005 by Juniper Networks. At IntruVert he helped the company establish and lead the IDPS category, resulting in its acquisition by McAfee. At ShoreTel he helped the company establish itself in the emerging enterprise VoIP space.
Mr. Ness brings more than 19 years of integrated marketing communications experience, managing advertising, analyst and press relations, lead generation, messaging, positioning and programs for large and growth companies. He was a company spokesperson for Verizon for nine years, where he also won an "Award of Excellence" for marketing program innovation.
Mr. Ness earned a Bachelor's Degree from Reed College and a Master's Degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
Mrs. Sandy Baggott is the Controller of Blue Lane Technologies. Previously, Mrs. Baggott was Controller of Tropian, Inc. a private wireless semiconductor company. Prior to joining Tropian, Mrs. Baggott was Controller of Adesso Specialty Software. Before joining Adesso, Mrs. Baggott was a senior member of the assurance and advisory business services with Ernst & Young.
Mrs. Baggott brings over 10 years experience in both public and private accounting and finance. Mrs. Baggott holds an accounting degree from San Jose State University and is a licensed CPA. |
