Jeff Song joined Ingersoll Rand in August 2004 as president, Ingersoll Rand China.
He joined Ingersoll Rand from Honeywell International, where he was the managing director and general manager for Honeywell China Co. Ltd. He joined Honeywell in 1988 and held a variety of positions in both China and the United States, including sales and marketing director for AlliedSignal Aerospace, general manager of Honeywell CATIC Engine Co. Ltd. and general manager of Honeywell CRIAA Aero Accessories Company. Jeff spent the early part of his career in engineering at Shuicheng Steel Company.
He holds an undergraduate degree in materials engineering and two masters degrees from universities in China and Canada, as well as a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah. |
