In his role as executive vice president and chief financial officer, Jeff Stafeil provides comprehensive financial direction and guidance to the corporation in achieving revenue growth, profitability and cash flow goals. His responsibilities include leading the development of Metaldyne's annual and long-range plans, global capital markets activities and capital investments, as well as assembling sound financial controls and policies to adequately safeguard the company's assets and accurately report results.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Stafeil served as Metaldyne's vice president and corporate controller, where he was responsible for the coordination of planning, management reporting, accounting and financial analysis across the company.
In addition to his role at Metaldyne, Mr. Stafeil also serves as a Senior Managing Director of Heartland Industrial Partners, where in addition to his role in the acquisitions of MascoTech, Simpson and GMTI, he led the effort to commonize the financial reporting across Metaldyne. Previously, Mr. Stafeil was a consultant at Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Mr. Stafeil assisted Booz Allen clients with numerous growth strategies and cost reduction projects, including leading the shared service implementation across a multinational petroleum company. Prior to Booz Allen, he held various positions at Mobil Corporation, Peterson Consulting and Ernst & Young.
In addition to being a certified public accountant, Mr. Stafeil holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from Duke University.
