As senior vice president, Jeff oversees our Search and Marketplace Group including Yahoo! Search, Yahoo Local, and the Marketplace properties including Shopping, Travel and Autos. Additionally, he oversees the Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly Overture) product and customer and content solutions teams as well as Yahoo! Small Business. The group's long-term vision is to enable people to find, use, share and expand (FUSE) all human knowledge and more specifically, the group's mission is to provide the world's most valued and trusted search experience for users, publishers, and advertisers.
From 2001 to 2002, Jeff was the senior vice president of corporate development at Yahoo!, where he was responsible for overseeing the development and modification of overall corporate and individual business unit strategy as well as mergers and acquisitions. Prior to coming to Yahoo!, Jeff was co-founder of Windsor Digital, a private equity firm focused on digital and media investments. From 1994 to 2000, he worked at Warner Bros., where after starting in the corporate planning and development group, he helped conceive the initial plan for Warner Bros. Online and played a key role in developing and overseeing the division. Prior to Warner Bros., Jeff was a strategic planning analyst at Braxton Associates, the strategic management consulting division of Deloitte and Touche.
Jeff holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. |
