As Mercury Payment Systems� co-founder and chairman of the board, Jeffrey Katz launched Mercury with an idea for a unique business model, which became a reality when he joined forces with brother and technology expert, Marc Katz. His vision and payment processing industry experience became the foundation for Mercury�s strong start, followed by rapid growth each consecutive year. With strong channel marketing expertise, developed throughout 16 years of building financial planning and credit card processing businesses, Katz�s experience included the representation of smaller Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), such as Bancard, Inc., of Boulder, CO, and larger bank/processors such as Citicorp Establishment Services in Melville, N.Y.
