Current responsibility
Jeff is an actuary and leads the Non-Life (Property and Casualty) practice in the Munich office of Milliman. He rejoined the firm in 2001.
Experience
Jeff's area of expertise is U.S. and international property and casualty insurance, particularly reserving and ratemaking for insurance companies. He has extensive experience in matters related to workers' compensation and other commercial lines of business, reinsurance analysis, and dynamic financial modeling.
Prior to joining Milliman, Jeff worked for GenRe in Cologne, Germany, where he was responsible for reserving multiple lines of assumed European business, including:
International casualty facultative
Proportional and non-proportional motor liability
Proportional and non-proportional general liability
Proportional and non-proportional credit and bond
Other responsibilities included monitoring subsidiaries, giving presentations, profitability testing, and financial analysis.
Jeff began his career with the Denver office of Milliman in 1993, where he worked in the Property and Casualty practice until 1997.
Jeff is fluent in English and German.
