Dr. Hall joined the Company in October 2000 and was appointed Director of Assay Development. In March 2003 he assumed the role of Vice President of Assay Development. Prior to joining Verax, Dr. Hall was the manager of the VIDAS Probe Industrialization Group for BioMerieux Inc. from 1999 to 2000. From 1997 to 1999, he served as the group leader for hepatitis B test development for Bayer Diagnostics (formerly Chiron Diagnostics). In this role he directed the activities of multiple immunoassay product development teams for 5 hepatitis and 2 toxoplasma assays for the ACS:Centaur immunoassay testing system. From 1995 to 1997 Dr. Hall served as R&D project leader for hepatitis assays for the ACS:Centaur immunoassay system prior to the acquisition of Chiron's diagnostic business by Bayer diagnostics. From 1991-1995 he held multiple positions in the area of immunoassay product development for Baxter Diagnostics. Dr. Hall received his Ph.D. in Reproductive Physiology from West Virginia University in 1988. |
