Jeffrey A. Paul is the Vice President, IT Services, for Bay4 Capital. Jeff has more than fourteen years experience in information systems management. Before joining Bay4, he was the Chief Information Officer for GATX Technology for seven years. As such, Jeff was responsible for implementing the equipment standardization, MIS tracking system, and high level of IT service throughout the GATX organization. He was instrumental in the development of GATX�s international web services, and developed a partnership with an equipment provider to support their procurement initiative.
Prior to becoming a permanent GATX employee, Jeff worked with Sun/GATX on a consultant basis to fine-tune their IT systems. In 1988 Jeff started SLP Resources, a consulting platform, which targeted companies needing client server, mainframe implementation, application development, and IT strategic development. From 1988 to 1996 SLP worked with a variety of clients including Seminole Electric in Tampa, FL and Beneficial Finance in Peapack, NJ. Jeff also served as the interim CIO for J. Walter Thompson, Detroit, MI, where he reorganized the company�s IT department, standardized their products, and hired the permanent IT management.
Jeff received his BS in Computer Science from Thomas Edison State College, Trenton, New Jersey. |
