Jeffrey A. Rossman is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Chicago office. Jeff is a member of the Trial Department. Jeff concentrates his trial practice in all varieties of securities and other complex commercial litigation. He regularly represents clients before the Securities and Exchange Commission and other self-regulatory organizations. He also advises clients in connection with internal corporate investigations and shareholder and derivative litigation.
He has tried several cases in federal and state courts across the country. In addition to his trial experience, Jeff has successfully mediated and arbitrated cases on behalf of his clients.
Jeff was an intern to the Honorable Gerald Rosen, U.S. District Court Judge. Prior to joining McDermott, he was an associate at another large law firm for four years in San Francisco, California.
Jeff is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the State of California; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Ninth Circuits; the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Central Districts of California. He is a member of the State Bar of California; the State Bar of Illinois; and the Chicago Bar Association.
