Jeffrey F. Rector is an associate based in our Tokyo office and is a member of Global Project Finance Group. Jeff brings several years of experience involving international investment and infrastructure development.
Jeff is currently representing the lenders on the first post-crisis large-scale power plant development in Indonesia. Other recent transactions include representation of: a lender and investor to a multiple-project PPP involving the United States Government; the developer for a proposed 50 MW wind farm in Mongolia; the commercial bank lead arranger and investment bank for a toll road in Peru; five ECAs in connection with the financing of a LNG Facility in Yemen; lenders for two separate hydroelectric projects in the Philippines; and a developer in the construction and operation of a water desalination/power plant facility in Oman.
Jeff received his J.D. from Stanford University, his Masters of Pacific International Affairs (MPIA) at the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD) and his B.A. in Political Science from UCSD. Before joining Milbank, Jeff worked in the Tokyo office of a major international engineering and construction company.
Jeff is fluent in written and spoken Japanese and is a member of the California State Bar Association. |
