Veteran financial advisor Jeff Smith is Lydian Bank & Trust's Wealth Management Director. In this role, Smith is responsible for business development in Lydian's Palm Beach office, where he focuses on assisting high net worth clients and families in structuring asset allocation, investment management, estate planning, wealth transfer and strategic philanthropy.
Smith is a 17-year veteran of Wachovia, joining the firm at their North Carolina headquarters shortly after graduation from Guilford College. In 1999, Smith relocated to Palm Beach as a vice president for Wachovia's commercial lending group. More recently, he became a senior vice president and partner in wealth management where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of relationships and developing new business.
Smith resides in West Palm Beach with his wife Liza who served as his co-chairman in 2004 and 2005 of Arthur's Jam to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. An active community leader, he has supported a number of other charitable causes including the Young Friends of the Norton Museum, the American Heart Association and the American Lung Association.
