Jeffrey H. Schervone is an associate in the firm's Commercial Litigation, Insurance Litigation and Employment Law Groups. He concentrates his practice in civil litigation involving commercial and business disputes. He has experience litigating before state and federal courts. He represents individuals and businesses in complex cases involving a variety of issues, including breaches of contract, business torts, intellectual property, insurance defense, real estate, employment, collections, estate litigation, unfair competition, legal malpractice, municipal defense, personal injuries, and construction defects. Prior to joining Spector Gadon & Rosen, Mr. Schervone was an associate with Mager White & Goldstein, LLP, where he concentrated his practice in complex civil litigation and traditional labor law. A second career attorney, Mr. Schervone previously worked as an electrical engineer and sales manager in the Eastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey electrical construction industry for over ten years before attending law school at night. He also worked as an electrical engineer and procurement contracts manager for Israel Aircraft Industries, Military Aircraft Division, from 1990-1994. He is fluent in written and spoken Hebrew. Mr. Schervone is admitted to the bars of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is also a member of the American Bar Association (Labor and Employment law section), New Jersey Bar Association and Federal Bar Association. Mr. Schervone received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden (2003), and holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University (1990). |
