Experience: Jeffrey has been a tax partner with Goodman since 2001 through a merger with a firm he co-founded and served at for nine years. Prior to that, he acquired nine years of tax and auditing experience with an international accounting firm in its Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia offices. His clients have included a wide variety of businesses ranging in size from entrepreneurial start-ups to publicly held companies. He also served as a member of a regional mergers and acquisitions group, where he performed transaction structuring consulting and tax-related due diligence on target companies in a variety of industries. He has extensive knowledge in the following areas: Tax planning and compliance for clients in the fields of professional services, government contracting, construction, and technology , Multi-state income tax planning and compliance, and local, property and sales tax issues, Real estate tax issues including passive loss limitations and real estate construction Tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, RS, state, and local controversy and procedural matters.
