Professional Experience
Prior to joining Huron before Glass & Associates Jeff was formerly with Oxford Investments responsible for seeking acquisitions strategic and market planning and undertaking corporate restructurings as well as supporting various other activities relating to existing and future portfolio companies. His responsibilities included assisting with liquidity projections.
Previously Jeff was a Vice President at Fifth Third Bancorp where his responsibilities included the development and underwriting of new business opportunities involving closely held corporations with revenues ranging from $10MM-$500MM. He also held various positions at Comerica Bank including developing new business and managing a portfolio of distressed debt in the Special Asset Group.
Recently Jeff has been involved in a number of middle market restructurings primarily in the automotive industry. Jeff's role has focused on crisis liquidity management and managing relationships with customers and both secured and unsecured vendors.
Representative examples of Jeff's engagement experience include:
$40 M manufacturer of foam inserts
Jeff took over cash management of this automotive and medical manufacturer after it defaulted under its credit agreement with its bank. He successfully managed to keep the company out of a bankruptcy while curing a significant over-advanced position. Jeff was subsequently successful in negotiating an amendment to the company's revolving credit facility.
$60 M manufacturer of stamped metal parts
Jeff managed the relationship between this automotive supplier and its secured lender after its management lost credibility over financial statement irregularities. He oversaw the company's reporting and cash management to ensure compliance during a period of contracting liquidity. Jeff eventually was part of a team that successfully negotiated a complicated restructuring involving a new senior lender.
