Jeffrey M. Geller represents businesses and financial institutions in a diverse range of commercial, real estate, construction and employment law disputes. Mr. Geller also represents clients in international and domestic child abduction matters. Before joining Miles & Stockbridge, Mr. Geller worked as an associate with the law firm of Shapiro Sher Guinot & Sandler. He also served for four years as a lawyer for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, where he gained extensive trial experience and handled a wide range of criminal cases. While attending law school at American University, Mr. Geller was an editor of the Administrative Law Review (ALR). His article, The Impact of Recent Double Jeopardy Decisions on Federal Agencies , 10 Admin. L.J. Am. U. 327 (1996), appeared in the ALR. After graduation, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Frederick D. Dorsey of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.
