Prior to joining Downer & Company, Mr. Robards was a Director in the US M&A practice of Ernst & Young. Earlier in his career he worked at Bankers Trust Company and Barclays Bank, advising European multinationals on their US corporate finance activities. From 2000 to 2003 he lived and worked in the Netherlands, where he advised European and North American clients on cross-border transactions. Mr. Robards' industry experience includes food & beverage, consumer products, industrial manufacturing, retail trade, and medical products. He has advised on a broad array of corporate finance issues, with particular emphasis on middle-market acquisitions, divestitures and buyouts. His experience also includes advising on capital structure matters and troubled company situations. He received his MBA from the Wharton School and a BA in Economics from Emory University. |
