Jeffrey S. Buettner is a Manager in the Valuation & Financial Opinions Group. His concentration is in ESOP and ERISA Advisory Services. Mr. Buettner has over seven years of experience performing valuations and financial advisory services for a variety of purposes, including Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) transactions and annual ESOP updates, fairness opinions, solvency opinions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate planning, business and security interest valuations, and financial restructuring. Mr. Buettner has significant experience in performing analyses for a broad array of industries, including, but not limited to, agriculture, apparel, automotive parts manufacturing, automotive service centers, banking, chemical manufacturing, commercial printing, computer software, construction equipment, consumer products, consumer rental companies, consulting services, engineering and architectural services, financial services, freight forwarding, government contracting, industrial tooling, equipment and machinery manufacturing, insurance brokerage, insurance underwriting, marketing services, medical equipment, metal fabrication, paper products manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, plastics, propane distribution, residential homebuilding, retail, steel, supermarkets, technology, telecommunications, textiles, tobacco, tool manufacturing, transportation, utilities and wholesale distribution. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Buettner was a senior associate with a national valuation firm and an associate in the Corporate Value Consulting division of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (now part of Duff & Phelps Corporation). In these roles, Mr. Buettner performed, supervised, and executed numerous valuation, and financial advisory engagements. Mr. Buettner earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and a BBA with a concentration in Finance from the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky. Mr. Buettner is also a member of the ESOP Association and the Business Valuation Association of Chicago. |
