Jeff Harrison advises employers on labor and employment matters, with a significant amount of time devoted to assisting clients with their union-free efforts. He has successfully represented numerous employers throughout the United States and Canada in all stages of union organizing campaigns. He also has extensive experience conducting employment practices audits and working with clients to develop pro-active positive employee relations programs. His clients have included employers in numerous industries, including automotive, automotive supply, rubber, food and beverage, transportation and warehousing. Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Jeff served as a Partner at Young & Perl in Memphis.
He is a member of the Michigan and Tennessee Bar Associations, as well as the American Bar Association and the ABA's Labor and Employment section. Jeff is admitted to practice before all state courts of Tennessee and Michigan, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a member of the Japan-America Society of Tennessee. In September 2005, he was selected to travel to Japan as part of Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee's delegation affirming trade and economic development relations with Japanese manufacturing companies.
Jeff frequently conducts management training sessions on a variety of labor and employment law issues. He has recently worked with one of the nation's largest banks to introduce an ongoing seminar series for local business leaders and human resource professionals.
