Jeffrey (Jeff) W. LeRose is CEO and President of Research Triangle Software, a start-up that he founded in 1991. Mr. LeRose is a former Chairman of the Board of the business-to-business online e-commerce firm, Internet Commerce Corporation (Nasdaq: ICCA), and he also is the former President and Founder of Research Triangle Commerce, Inc. (RTCI), which received venture funding in 1999 and was sold to Internet Commerce Corporation in November 2000.
From 1997 to 1999, RTCI was named as one of the fastest growing companies in the country by Inc. magazine in their annual ranking of the "Inc. 500." LeRose's company also was named three years in a row to the prestigious "Technology Fast 500" program by Deloitte and Touche and No. 1 in revenue growth in the Raleigh-Durham area. From 1994 to 1998, RTCI's revenue grew 1,734 percent.
In 1998, Mr. LeRose received the Ernst and Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" award for the Carolinas for Technology. He currently sits on the Board of Advisors for the Love School of Business at Elon University and is a founding Board Member for the Research Triangle Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Mr. LeRose also is on the Board of Advisors for Southern Capitol Ventures, where he provides advice on the investment in emerging technology companies in the Triangle.
Mr. LeRose received his BA from New Jersey City University. He has been published in many national technology and business magazines and has been the guest speaker for many national technology trade associations speaking on EDI, XML and electronic commerce. |
