Jeff Grossman is vice president and controller of NiSource Inc. He is responsible for the company's financial reporting and corporate insurance functions.
Grossman joined Columbia Energy Group in 1979. He served in several leadership positions at various Columbia operating companies, and was assistant controller before becoming vice president and controller in 1996. He held that position until NiSource acquired Columbia in November 2000. Concurrent with the acquisition, Grossman was named vice president and controller of NiSource.
Prior to joining Columbia, Grossman worked at HNTB-Iran as an auditor, and at Gable, Peritz, Mishkin and Company as lead accountant.
Grossman is a certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Drexel University.
Grossman is based at NiSource's corporate headquarters in Merrillville, Ind.
