With over 25 years experience in public affairs, Mr. Adler has conceived and directed public information, public relations and political campaigns for a wide range of private- and public-sector clients across the nation. Mr. Adler founded Adler Public Affairs more than 19 years ago following a 10-year career as an award-winning daily newspaper reporter in California, Nevada, Oregon and New York.
A leading public affairs, public awareness and political campaign innovator, Mr. Adler has conceived and managed comprehensive campaigns to create public support for dozens of transportation, energy, water, development and environmental projects throughout the nation. His efforts include co-managing public and government relations activities for the $2.4 billion Alameda Corridor, one of the largest public works in the nation ever completed on-time and on budget; a $1.7 billion rapid transit system for the City and County of Honolulu; the branding and introduction of FastTrak toll and carpool lanes in California; and efforts to site a $450 million Liquified Natural Gas receiving terminal in Long Beach, Calif.
Mr. Adler also has developed strategy and managed dozens of political campaigns for both candidates and issues alike. He is a leading expert on public finance issues and has successfully managed public finance campaigns on behalf of counties, municipalities and special districts totaling more than a half-billion dollars.
Nominated for the Pulitzer Prize in investigative journalism in 1979.
