Jeffrey Baltruzak is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Chicago office. He is a member of the Trial Department.
While in law school, Jeffrey served on the board of the Harvard Journal on Legislation, directing the Journal's 2005 symposium on criminal sentencing in the wake of the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision in United States v. Booker. He also clerked with the City of Chicago's Individual Defense Litigation division.
Jeffrey is the author of a forthcoming law review article on mass transit's relationship with local government law entitled "The Core Plan: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Central City." The article will be published in 2007 in the Pierce Law Review.
Jeffrey is admitted to practice in Illinois.
